Neil Freeman

PRESIDENT

Neil Freeman serves as President of Urban Development Fund and Aries Capital Incorporated, a full-service mortgage banking firm offering long-term, interim and mezzanine loans. Throughout his over 25 year career in the finance and real estate ownership industries, he has funded over $2 billion in commercial and multifamily properties, and has held equity interests in real estate worth more than $100,000,000.

A licensed CPA, Mr. Freeman received his BSBA degree in Accounting from the University of Florida, and his MBA degree from Stanford University. Highly active within his field, he is a member of the Real Estate Investment Association (REIA), the National Multi-Housing Council (NMHC), and the Mortgage Banker’s Association (MBA). He is an adjunct professor for the Finance Department at DePaul University in Chicago and also serves on The Advisory Board of DePaul’s Real Estate Center.

Michael Qualizza

CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Michael currently serves as the Chief Operating Officer of the Urban Development Fund. In this capacity, Michael oversees the day-to-day operations of UDF. Michael also is a principal of QSG Consulting Group, which provides financial and technical deal structure advice to Syndicators, Developers and Investors involved with the NMTC, HTC, and LIHTC programs. Prior to this, Michael was the Director of Investment Management at the National Equity Fund. In this capacity, Michael was responsible for the capital raise and asset allocation process for an annual $400 million of section 42 LIHTC investments. This total includes capital from banks, publicly held corporations, and community development corporations. Michael continues to be an advisor to many national- and state-based tax credit syndicators on their capital raise structures and pursuing new investors to capitalize their funds. Michael received his Bachelors degree in Finance from DePaul University in Chicago.

Chad Goodall

CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

Chad currently serves as a Vice President of Urban Development Fund. Chad oversees program compliance with the CDFI Fund and investor reporting. Previously Chad was a consultant with QSG Consulting Group, which provides financial and technical advice to syndicators and investors in the LIHTC program. Prior to this, Chad was the Fund Manger for the National Equity Fund. In this role Chad was responsible for the portfolio management and capital raise of an annual $400 million in new investment and the management of a stable portfolio of $3.1 billion. Chad is a graduate of the University of Chicago.

Jim Keledjian

SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT – ASSET MANAGEMENT

Jim has over thirty years of professional experience in real estate syndication and investment, and has been involved with $800,000,000 of income property acquisition and development. He has earned a national reputation in the real estate field as a speaker on investment affairs. Mr. Keledjian is also involved as a financial advisor and/or joint venture partner to Charities, Foundations and Non-profit Housing Corporations interested in acquiring and/or developing low to moderate income housing. Mr. Keledjian’s responsibilities include project origination and development, public bond inducement, tax-exempt bond structuring and placement, and asset management. He is also active in structuring and placing Low Income Housing Tax Credits. In 1995, he formed a privately held development firm, Pathway Senior Living, which is involved with the development and operation of independent living and assisted living facilities for seniors built under the Low Income Housing Tax Credit program.

Andrea Riegsecker

VICE PRESIDENT

Andrea serves as Senior Vice President, has twenty years of multifamily and commercial mortgage underwriting experience. Andrea is responsible for processing UDF loans, from application to closing, as well as the monitoring of transaction qualifications. She received her undergraduate degree from Butler University, and her background includes positions with the mortgage divisions of Mesirow Financial and The Berkshire Group (formerly Krupp Mortgage).

Christina Lopez

EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT & OPERATIONS MANAGER

Christina serves as Executive Assistant and Operations Manager for Aries Capital Incorporated. She oversees day-to-day operations for the corporate office and has nine years of managerial and administrative experience. Prior to working with Aries, Christina worked for two prominent advertising agencies including Foote, Cone and Belding and Walter Latham SRS.
